NFL teams may not like it, but Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is the real deal.
Players around the league agree as well, ranking Williams as the 51st-best player in the NFL, voted on by his peers. Williams became the second player on the Bears to make the top 100 list, with edge rusher Montez Sweat being the first.
Last season, Williams finished with a franchise-record 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns to seven interceptions, adding another four scores on top of that. He completed the most comebacks and game-winning drives in NFL history with seven last season.
Chicago has a lot of enemies after what happened last season, but no matter how people feel about Williams and the Bears, no one can deny that he's a great talent. Even the Green Bay Packers.
Green Bay Packers players know how special Caleb Williams is
The NFL shared player testimonals of them praising Williams for how good he was last year. Two Packers players made it into the video to share their thoughts.
Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon was the first, who is well known for being a massive Bears hater. Nixon told it like it is when talking about Williams.
"He's got a gift. Just knows how to get it done."
Nixon and the Packers understand well how Williams can get the job done. The Bears won the series against Green Bay in 2025 with a 2-1 record. Both wins required Williams to lead a double-digit deficit comeback to get the job done.
Someone else on the Packers had to give his props to the Bears quarterback: edge rusher Micah Parsons.

The NFL released a video of Parsons before the top 100 list in which he praised Williams as the best player in the league. While he fought back against the video, it was undeniable that the Bears quarterback had made an impression on the Packers.
Anytime a guy can erase a 10-point and 18-point deficit in the same season against the same team, it's hard to argue against the math. Williams simply had the Packers' number in 2025.

Entering the new year, Williams has a chance to continue to climb up the rankings of the best players in the NFL. He's talented enough to someday see himself at number one. Green Bay players seem to know that well.
