You might have missed it, Chicago Bears fans. You just might have. He is a hard person to find, these days, as he really doesn't want all of the attention on himself. After all, Aaron Rodgers might be the most humble individual this earth has known since Mother Theresa.

But, over the weekend, Rodgers came together on an agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers to be their quarterback for one more year. He will be taking starting snaps at 42 years old before he presumably hangs up the cleats in 2027.

And, in the aftermath of this news, everyone has their opinion on the matter. Again, Rodgers is just the most lovable human being, so they have all been overwhelmingly positive.

One NFL insider went on the air to chime in with his thoughts and, amid other tidbits, ESPN's Dan Graziano tossed out a truly remarkable and unbelievable scenario:

"It all sounds great. But, if things were to start to go bad, if the Steelers were to lose games, have a rough season, I mean the fact of the matter is, we've seen him (McCarthy) with Aaron Rodgers, how it goes. He makes sure he's not the one getting blamed."

Now, that doesn't sound like the humble, inconspicuous full-grown wallflower we have all come to know and love!

Aaron Rodgers? Not wanting to shoulder the blame? Noooo.

Chicago Bears fans cannot help but smirk knowing the truth about Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers has publicly told the world that he doesn't want the attention. He doesn't crave the spotlight. He's said as much, multiple times, during segments on The Pat McAfee Show over the years.

And yet, we all see right through him.

We all know he enjoys every bit of the spotlight. He wants the attention. He intentionally draws these offseason decisions out simply to hold teams hostage and prove that he has the power.

It doesn't matter what he says. We know who Rodgers is. He has deflected blame for years, so this take by Graziano is completley believable. It is hilariously accurate. It is so accurate, it's painful.

Just this last season, we heard Rodgers call out his teammates and deflect blame their way. In years past, with the Green Bay Packers, we've seen him do the same exact thing. This is a tale as old as time, and it's something both Bears and Packers fans can agree on, because it's the truth!

To ever think Rodgers is a self-sacrificing, altruistic individual who will take responsibility on his own shoulders would be to believe one of the greatest lies ever told.

If Rodgers and the Steelers go downhill this season, we know who won't be taking the blame.

As much of a thorn he was in the Bears' side, and for years, there is something soothing and quite peaceful, really, about knowing this franchise never had to deal with his ridiculous and pompous attitude.
