No Chicago Bears fan was even thinking a Super Bowl was possible in the near future heading into the 2025 season, but now it might happen sooner than anyone thinks.

Of course, that will depend on whether Bears head coach Ben Johnson can develop quarterback Caleb Williams quickly enough to reach that point. Bleacher Report writer Brad Gagnon shared one sentence for each NFL team that would be a dream scenario for 2026, with his for the Bears being all about Johnson and Williams.

"Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams take another step forward together as the quarterback experiences a Year 3 breakout for a Super Bowl contender."

Can Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams hoist that Super Bowl trophy together?

The Bears went 11-6 last season while winning the NFC North and beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card. Johnson and Williams have set the foundation for something special to happen in Chicago in the future.

Williams has already made significant strides in his development as a leader and quarterback, as evidenced by his on-field decision-making. He's not putting the ball in harm's way and knows when to throw it away rather than take a sack.

As for Johnson, he's already done the hard work of completely changing the franchise's culture and getting their mindsets in the right place. He's brought in the right players and coaches to fit into what he is trying to build in Chicago.

This season will present new challenges as expectations have completely shifted, and more pressure is on Johnson and Williams to deliver a proper encore for the Windy City. Making the playoffs is no longer the number one goal, as now it's bringing home the Lombardi Trophy for the first time in over four decades.

The pieces are set to make that happen, but Johnson and Williams have to be the ones to make it a reality.
