One player who emerged late in the 2025 season and could end up having a nice future in the NFL was Chicago Bears wide receiver Jahdae Walker.
Most Bears fans will remember Walker's late-game heroics as he caught the game-tying touchdown with under 30 seconds left in their Week 16 win over the Green Bay Packers. Even though his stats suggested he did not play much, when he was on the field, Walker showed flashes of greatness.
Walker took to social media to show fans what he is doing to prepare for Year 2 in the NFL. He shared a 44-second clip of himself doing various workouts in the gym, wearing his Bears helmet and hyping himself up in the greatest way possible.

Last season, Walker came into training camp as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M with very low expectations of making the team. He turned the preseason into his ticket to the 53-man roster with two game-winning touchdowns caught in the fourth quarter of two of those three games.
During the regular season, Walker didn't play much, appearing in just nine games and starting one. He made the most of his time on the field as he caught six passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
With DJ Moore traded away and Olamide Zaccheaus signed with the Atlanta Falcons, Walker's role will be much different for the 2026 season, as he could jump in as the WR3. That will all depend on what the team does in the NFL Draft and if they select a receiver in the early rounds.

Rome Odunze and Luther Burden lead the wide receiver room, and tight ends Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet will also be heavily involved in the passing game, but Walker could be a sneaky choice for a breakout candidate for 2026.
