It's getting close to the time for Chicago Bears fans to find out the full 17-game 2026 schedule, but there are certain teams they want to play in prime time.

While everyone would agree that the Bears and Green Bay Packers would be cinema, another game deserves to be in prime time more than that: the one involving Chicago. Bleacher Report writer Brad Gagnon shared 12 games fans want to see in prime time, with the Bears-Seahawks game among the top.

"Are Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams set to take that next step after making waves in their first season together? What better measuring stick than a road matchup with the defending Super Bowl champions? If this is an early-season game, it's one of those indicators as to how much progress Chicago has made as well as how much of a Super Bowl hangover the Seahawks might be suffering from. If it's a late-season game, it could have playoff seeding implications. Regardless, it's a fun one that deserves the spotlight in 2026."

Bears-Seahawks would be an instant classic in prime time

This has been the one game everyone has predicted would be the first game of the 2026 NFL season. It would feature the defending Super Bowl champions in Seattle dropping the banner, while also including a young, up-and-coming team ready to dethrone them as the NFC and NFL leaders.

It would also be intriguing to see two of the brightest minds in the NFL face off in an ultimate chess match. Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald is arguably the best defensive-minded head coach in the NFL, while Bears head coach Ben Johnson is one of the best offensive-minded head coaches in the league.

The storyline is there, and the intrigue is there as well. Bears fans want the Seahawks in prime time to show the NFL world that they are a legit Super Bowl contender and prove they are for real in 2026.
