This has been a long time coming, but Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is officially good to play as the team prepares for their Wild Card showdown against the Green Bay Packers.

The Bears released their final injury report with three players being listed as out for the game. Unfortunately, Chicago will not have three players with concussions: cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson, linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, and defensive lineman Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.

Additionally, two players have been listed as questionable for the contest, with both currently on IR. Cornerback Kyler Gordon (groin) and offensive lineman Braxton Jones (knee) both were full participants in the final workout, so it's looking good for them to either play in the Packers game or potentially be ready for the Divisional Round if the Bears make it.

Bears lose one starter, but got strong injury report back

The loss of Gardner-Johnson is big, as he can do so much from his slot position. Despite the team's struggles covering slot receivers, Gardner-Johnson has held his own and has been a great option for defensive coordinator Dennis Allen on blitzes from the secondary.

Chicago's solution for Gardner-Johnson being out is give Gordon the starting spot back at nickel. Gordon has only played in three games this season, but when he's in there, he is one of the best slot corners in the NFL, so it's a big boost for a secondary that has struggled to cover the pass.

Odunze being back in the lineup is going to be massive for the offense, as it gives them another impressive weapon to throw to. The Bears had four receivers who had at least 600 yards receiving on the year, including Odunze, Colston Loveland, DJ Moore, and Luther Burden III.

Another underrated note from the injury report was that starting left tackle Ozzy Trapilo is back after missing the Week 18 loss to the Green Bay Packers due to a knee and quad injury. With Trapilo back and the potential addition of Jones back from IR, the Bears' offensive line is back to being deep.

Chicago is looking great going into the Wild Card, as they will have all their starters back except for Gardner-Johnson. The Bears are now ready to get the job done against their rivals.
