The Chicago Bears have as much momentum as almost any team in the NFL heading into the offseason. Their miraculous run through December and January has fans believing for the first time in a while.
But if this team is going to become a true contender, there are some holes on the roster that need to be filled. In this mock draft, the Bears give defensive coordinator Dennis Allen the tools he needs to build a top-10 defense.
Chicago Bears 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft
Round 1, Pick 25: Bears draft Georgia DT Christen Miller
Grady Jarrett wasn't quite the home-run addition Bears fans were hoping for in 2025. Heading into the offseason, defensive tackle may be Chicago's biggest need. Luckily, there are a few first-round prospects at the position that could give an immediate boost to the defensive front.
Georgia's Christen Miller is a strong run defender with the quickness and technical ability to become a force in the passing game. He would help Allen reform the Bears' run defense.
Round 2, Pick 57: Bears draft Michigan EDGE Derrick Moore
Sticking with the defensive line, Michigan edge rusher Derrick Moore would add to the Bears' pass rush in a big way. He has the athleticism to get around the corner, but his powerful hands are enough to knock offensive tackles back as well. He could become a consistent starter for Chicago.
Round 3, Pick 89: Bears draft Texas Tech LB Jacob Rodriguez
Linebacker Jacob Rodriguez would be an instant fan favorite in Chicago. He has a nose for the football, producing turnovers at an exceptional rate. After a strong showing at the Senior Bowl, his stock will continue to rise.
Round 4, Pick 129: Bears draft Notre Dame S Jalen Stroman
The Bears need to address the safety position this offseason, as Kevin Byard nears the end of his career. After focusing on other needs early in this mock draft, they pick up Notre Dame's Jalen Stroman in the fourth round. He hasn't been incredibly productive in college, but he's a capable tackler with good instincts in coverage.
Round 5, Pick 163: Bears draft Texas A&M OT Trey Zuhn III
It's never a bad idea to add depth on the offensive line. Texas A&M prospect Trey Zuhn III is an excellent pass blocker who could play at either tackle spot if needed.
Round 7, Pick 139: Bears draft Illinois WR Hank Beatty
If DJ Moore gets traded this offseason, the Bears will need to bring in more receiver depth. In the seventh round, Illinois wideout Hank Beatty could be a good fit. He was productive in college and showed a diverse range of interests.
Round 7, Pick 241: Bears draft Utah EDGE Logan Fano
Logan Fano's brother, Spencer, might be a first-round pick in this draft. But Logan shouldn't be overlooked, as he has the size and explosiveness to hold up in the NFL.
