The Chicago Bears have officially released their inactives for the Los Angeles Rams NFC Divisional Round game with some good and bad news.

Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze will officially be good to go, as expected, after being excluded from the inactive list. The bad news is that left tackle Braxton Jones is now inactive for the game.

Here's a full look at all six players who has been inactive for the contest:

  • Case Keenum, Third QB
  • Nick McCloud, CB
  • Braxton Jones, LT
  • Jahdae Walker, WR
  • Ruben Hyppolite II, LB
  • Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, DE

Bears have some key players missing for Rams showdown

Jones is a big name missing, as there have been talks about the offensive line looking a lot different from what fans were expecting. This will explain why the Bears are moving Joe Thuney to left tackle and Jordan McFadden moving up to left guard. Theo Benedet will be the backup left tackle as Ozzy Trapilo is lost for the season.

McCloud is out, which was expected, as he was the only player who was listed on the final injury report as being out for the contest. Kyler Gordon and C.J. Gardner-Johnson will be splitting reps at nickel corner with Jaylon Jones as the backup.

Seeing Odunze not on the inactive list is not surprising, but it's still good to see that he will be good to play. He and DJ Moore should still be the starters, with Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland being the other top targets for Caleb Williams.

It's do-or-die for the Bears as they have to beat the Rams to keep their season alive, as they are three wins away from their first Super Bowl in 40 years. This won't be easy for them, but the Bears have all the talent to get the job done.
