The Chicago Bears made a massive move before free agency by sending wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills via a trade.
Moore's departure helped the Bears save over $15 million against the cap and opened the door for Luther Burden to move up as the number two receiver in the offense behind Rome Odunze, but it did leave a gap in the WR3 role. NFL reporter Tony Pauline shared that the Bears' latest 30 visit, which is scheduled over a month before the 2026 NFL Draft, could solve that problem.
"He has official-30 visits with the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A really well-spoken person, Stribling’s performance in the predraft process has locked him up as a Day 2 selection."
Bears taking a look at De’Zhaun Stribling with 30 visit
Stribling would give the Bears another speedster at receiver as he finished his college career with Ole Miss after stops at Oklahoma State and Washington State. Last year, Stribling caught 55 passes for 811 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games with the Rebels.
At the Ole Miss Pro Day, Pauline reported that Stribling ran a 4.36 40-yard dash. Stribling also had 4.34 seconds in the short shuttle and 6.9 seconds in the three-cone
Standing at 6-foot-2, Stribling could line up on the outside and inside, but in the Bears' offense, he would make more sense on the outside, and Burden would be in the slot. That kind of size and speed from Stribling is rare to see and hard to pass up for Bears head coach Ben Johnson if he can get him in the building.

Chicago has plenty of needs on the roster, with the Bears needing an edge rusher and safety, but getting another wide receiver in the second or third round could give them the same kind of boost they got from Burden last year.
