Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is only in his second season in the NFL, so there’s still a lot unknown about how his career will unfold.

One thing is already clear, though: the young quarterback is clutch. Williams has proved that all season long, and he did it again on Saturday, leading Chicago to a comeback win over the Green Bay Packers in overtime.

Williams' late-game theatrics have earned him the nickname 'Iceman' from his teammates. Inside the NFL recently shared footage from after Chicago’s win, as Bears players celebrated their young quarterback by calling him his nickname. Williams' response was another reminder that he’s absolutely built for these moments.

As teammates celebrated with Williams, the young quarterback said, “I told you I got it, didn’t I?” He repeated the statement, as Tyrique Stevenson said to him, “I think you like that Superman feeling.” Much like Superman, it’s clear Williams expects to show up in the biggest moments. That was evident in his words in this clip, as well as the way he casually tucked his hands in his hand warmer after releasing the game-winning pass.

Williams and Chicago have developed a reputation for their ability to show up late in games, and that’s a great skill to have. While there is some fear about the Bears living in the clutch, the truth is that most games come down to one possession.

Additionally, the playoffs are all about late-game execution. The fact that the young Chicago team already has so many successful reps should bode well for their postseason appearance.

The Bears are 11-4 with two weeks left in the regular season, and they have already clinched a playoff spot. After the pivotal win over Green Bay, Chicago is on its way to winning the NFC North as well. The Bears are still a young team that quickly turned things around in Ben Johnson’s first year as a head coach, so there will be questions about them in the postseason.

However, with a clutch quarterback whom the team believes in, the Bears could make a ton of noise in the playoffs.
