OTAs ended for the Chicago Bears, and the fan base doesn't feel particularly great about one question that didn't get answered.
Sure, the offense looked great, and that has Bears fans excited for the potential in 2026. Even Chicago's secondary has given plenty of reason to look forward to the new year, as Jaylon Johnson had two interceptions and Dillon Thieneman thrived in the starting lineup.
There was one massive concern the Bears' roster had going into OTAs that, after three weeks, didn't really do much to give them confidence that they are in a good spot. Now, with more questions arising from the one main question fans had, the Bears still have to answer for it.
The Bears' defensive line is still a major question mark for the team
Booker seemed to have gotten some eyes on him during OTAs that should at least get Bears fans feeling encouraged that he could be in for a breakout season. Besides him, though, there really isn't much to talk about with the defensive line.
Montez Sweat and Gervon Dexter have nothing to prove as they are the top players on the defensive line. Last year, they were the top two players in sacks, with Bears head coach Ben Johnson even shouting out that he felt Sweat had the best season of his career.
Dayo Odeyingbo has so many questions surrounding him after having one sack in eight games last year before his season-ending injury. Johnson was happy to see Odeyingbo back at OTAs, which is great, but no noteworthy plays to get fans excited about.
Shemar Turner has his own concerns with Johnson not knowing when he will be back from his ACL injury, as he never participated in OTAs. The 2025 second-round pick is needed back for the Bears, as they are lacking depth on the line.
Grady Jarrett and the rest of the defensive tackles didn't do much to get confidence to back them up. They'll have to wait until training camp to get that done.

Bears fans can be happy about a lot of what happened at OTAs, but the fact that the defensive line really didn't have any highlight moments just gives fans more reason to be concerned about 2026.
