Chicago Bears fans are still waiting to see who they will be playing in 2026, as nothing has been leaked yet.

There have been plenty of games leaked early in the 2026 schedule, and rumors about the Bears are growing. Many believe they will play the Seahawks in Seattle in the season opener, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Bears fans might know one thing already, and it's that they won't be going to Madrid. They were rumored to be one of the few teams that could play the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid in 2026, but the decision was made to have the Cincinnati Bengals play them instead.

Chicago Bears fans most likely won't see the team travel internationally in 2026 (and that's okay)

The only real shot at the Bears participating in the NFL International Series was to play in Madrid against the Falcons. With that completely off the table, the Bears most likely won't be traveling anywhere outside the United States in 2026.

Honestly, that works for the Bears.

Less traveling for the Bears means they will be fresher for games. When traveling by plane for over 12 hours to a place like London, that is a lot for a player to adjust to the time change and step on the field within a few days.

The Bears won't have to deal with that problem in 2026, as they'll just have to focus on road games within the United States. One challenge for the Bears this year, traveling will be the Seahawks games in Seattle, but if they do play in Week 1, even that will be an advantage, as they will still have over a week to prepare for the game after going through training camp and preseason.

With a lot of chatter about the Bears having the toughest schedule in the NFL, they seem to be catching a lot of breaks for the 2026 season. That should make a potential Super Bowl run that much easier.
