ESPN NFL analyst Bart Scott started a firestorm of debate after predicting that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray would be the best quarterback in the NFC North in 2026, but did not say anything about Chicago Bears signal-caller Caleb Williams.

That has sparked everyone giving their opinion on who the best quarterback in the NFC North is, with many siding with Detroit Lions' Jared Goff. Well, FOX Sports hosts Chris Broussard and Nick Wright are on the outside as they shared on their show "First Things First" that they will take Williams over Goff.

"Give me Caleb," Broussard said. "I don't even think it's a question."

"One guy has an ability to be a superhero. The other guy is an awesome civilian," Wright replied.

This is no offense to Goff, who has played at a high level for a long time, as he has taken the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl once and took the Lions to the NFC Championship game just a few years ago. When it comes to natural arm talent and athletic ability, Williams has Goff beaten big time.

Last year, Williams threw for a franchise record 3,942 yards and scored 31 total touchdowns, and only had seven interceptions. His 1.2% interception percentage is on pace to be an NFL record for a quarterback in a career.

The accuracy is the one knock on Williams, as he regressed from 62% in his rookie season to 58% last year. If he can fix that one part of his game, the debate no longer becomes whether Williams is the best quarterback in the division, but the best in the NFL.

That last part won't be decided until he proves he can be consistent in his third NFL season, but Williams has no business being at the bottom of the division when he is the most talented quarterback right now in the NFC North.
