OTAs are underway for the Chicago Bears, and this year feels much more exciting than 2025, as the team is coming off a great season.

Specifically, there is a lot of excitement about the Bears' young offense, which is filled with weapons all around. Two of those guys have caught everyone's attention early in OTAs on social media: quarterback Caleb Williams and tight end Colston Loveland.

The Bears' social media page shared a clip of Williams dropping back to pass on what appeared to be a seven-on-seven drill as he connected with Loveland, who ran past new safety Coby Bryant for a big gain. That clip has gone viral with nearly 200,000 views in the first 16 hours on X.

Caleb Williams and Colston Loveland connecting again is what Bears fans need

Little did anyone know going into the 2025 season that Williams and Loveland would be the top QB-pass catcher combo by the end of the year. Loveland led the Bears with 713 yards and six touchdowns after a slow start to the 2025 campaign.

Going into Year 2 of playing with each other, Williams and Loveland are expected to step up even further in 2026 with better numbers. They have already shown how serious they are about getting better after a post went out with them alongside Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, and Jahdae Walker all working out together at USC.

Williams already set a franchise record for passing yards in a season last year at 3,942, but he has every shot of being the first 4,000-yard passer. Loveland will be gunning to add to the tight end stats and break his own franchise records.

Williams is blessed to have so many weapons on offense, with Loveland as his top guy heading into the season. This is the combo every Bears fan wants to watch and see for the next five to 10 years, with the hopes that they will lead them to the promised land of the Super Bowl.
