Even with how great the 2025 season was for the Chicago Bears, they know how close they are to being great now and want to get the franchise to the next level next season.
The Bears were the NFL's worst offense in 2024, averaging just 284.6 yards per game. Thanks to the arrival of new head coach Ben Johnson, who added key weapons, Chicago's offense completely flipped, ranking sixth in the NFL in total offense with 369.2 yards per game.
With all that momentum from the 2025 campaign, the Bears' offense doesn't want to lose that, so they are making sure the work is being put in during the offseason. Bears wide receiver Jahdae Walker shared on his Instagram that he, Caleb Williams, Colston Loveland, Rome Odunze, and Luther Burden were all together at USC working out together.
Young Bears stars working out together in the offseason
It's always encouraging that even though none of those guys have been in the league more than two years, they are mature enough to know the good thing they have going and want to get better. All five of them will be cornerstone pieces of this franchise for a long time.
Williams and Odunze have been together since Day 1, when they were both selected in the first round, and are attached at the hip. If it wasn't for Odunze's injury late in the season, the Bears fan base might have seen him go for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his young career.
Even though Loveland, Burden, and Walker were all rookies last year, they showed the potential to be great. Loveland led the Bears in receiving yards last year, while Burden was fourth, with both guys going for over 600 yards on the year. Walker came on strong late in the season with two clutch touchdowns, but with DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus gone, there is more pressure on Walker to step up in a bigger role on the offense.

This is the new reality for Chicago Bears fans after years of misery, with these five pieces being the ones that will decide whether they are a Super Bowl-caliber team or just a good team year after year. The signs indicate this offense is about to get a whole lot better than last season.
