While the Atlanta Falcons game just concluded, the Chicago Bears are back in action for Week 7 against the New England Patriots on Thursday night.
The Bears are in a pretty good spot with injuries, with few concerns. Their first injury report of the week came out late Monday night, with only six players listed.
What is the latest on every injury that the Bears are dealing with? Here's a look at every injury the team is dealing with in a short week against the Patriots.
Bears Week 7 injury tracker entering Patriots showdown
T.J. Edwards, LB (Hamstring)
Monday Practice Status: DNP
Edwards missed the Falcons game with a hamstring injury. Because he didn't practice early in the week on a short week, there is some doubt that he will be able to play. Chicago's defense had one of its best games of the season, so letting Edwards rest for one more contest could be on the table, with D'Marco Jackson filling in.
Jonah Jackson, OG (Hip/Quad)
Monday Practice Status: DNP
Jackson is the newest and most concerning injury after leaving the Falcons game early with a hip/quad injury. Luke Newman took over for him for the rest of the game. ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reported that Jackson is considered week-to-week and is very doubtful to play in the Patriots game, but the good news is that it is not considered long-term.
Bears OG Jonah Jackson has a hip flexor injury and is considered week-to-week, per source. Status for TNF in doubt but shouldn’t be long term.

Kyle Monangai, RB (Thumb/Toe)
Monday Practice Status: DNP
Monangai has missed the last two games, with the toe injury, especially around the thumb, as the biggest concern. He is now entering his third week missing practices with the injury, leaving his status for the Patriots game up in the air. Thanks to Roschon Johnson's solid Week 6 performance, the Bears' decision is easier, and Monangai could miss one more week.
Jack Sanborn, LB (Concussion)
Monday Practice Status: DNP
This is another new injury that has shown up on the report, as Sanborn is dealing with a concussion. With it being a short week, he can't clear concussion protocol in five days, which makes it more than likely he won't be making it to at least the game.
Keyshaun Elliott, LB (Quad)
Monday Practice Status: Full
Elliott played only one game before getting hurt again and did not play in the Falcons game. He looks on track to return for the Bears game against the Patriots. He will be needed alongside Edwards and Sanborn, who may not be able to play in the contest.
Tyrique Stevenson, CB (Hip)
Monday Practice Status: Full

Stevenson missed the Bears' Week 6 Falcons game after being questionable with the hip injury. With him getting a full practice in to start Week 7, that is looking encouraging for him to play. It appears he could be on his way to being active for the Patriots showdown. The real question is whether he will actually start or if they give the starting nod to rookie fourth-round pick Malik Muhammad.
