The Caleb Williams experience last year was a bit stressful for Chicago Bears fans, but they were rewarded with some of the best plays and moments in franchise history.

Williams led an NFL record seven comeback and game-winning drives in the regular season and playoffs, but he did so much more than that. He made incredible throws to players like DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, Jahdae Walker, Rome Odunze, and Colston Loveland that resulted in game-winners, game-tying scores, or big plays in those contests. Loveland appeared on "Bussin' With The Boys," where he discussed what it was like to play with Williams.

“Crazy. It’s like every game he’s making some crazy highlight play. It’s like, wow man," Loveland said. "I’ve seen it in college and seen him do it, but to be there firsthand and you’re running a route knowing at any time this thing can open up, it’s crazy. He’s unbelievable.”

Loveland also provided some exciting moments with the Bears in his rookie season. Every Bears fan will remember his remarkable "NFL arrival" game against the Cincinnati Bengals, in which he went for 118 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner with less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter. Loveland finished the 2025 campaign with 713 yards and six touchdowns.

Bears fans now know that the franchise has had a great combo between Williams and Loveland for a long time. Throughout the first two years in Chicago, Williams has not been known for sticking with one pass-catching target as his number-one guy, but Loveland seemed to have stuck with him late in the season. In the last four games of the regular season and postseason, Williams targeted Loveland 10 or more times in each contest.

Even with Moore no longer on the team after being traded, the Bears still have plenty of pass catchers who can step up. Odunze and Luther Burden III are the top wide receivers, but Loveland will most likely be Williams' first target in the passing game.

The 2026 season can't come any sooner, as the anticipation of seeing what Williams and Loveland can bring to the table in their second season together makes it more exciting. This duo will hopefully last for the next five to 10 years in the Windy City.
