Darnell Wright and Braxton Jones are returning at an important time for the Chicago Bears' offense

Beyond Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers being the first game for Thomas Brown as the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator, the team will also be seeing the return of both their starting tackles. Both Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright will be playing on Sunday for the Bears.

While Wright and Jones have proven to be inconsistent this season, their return to the offensive will aid the depleted unit we last saw against the New England Patriots last week.

You may not like Jones, but he was better than Larry Borom from the first day of his rookie season and he is still much better than Borom. An upgrade is an upgrade no matter what you think of Jones.

Wright has also been the Bears' most consistent lineman since he was drafted. This is another huge upgrade. Both coming at the same time are going to be more influential than some fans realize.

With the return of Jones and Wright, Matt Pryor will move back inside. Teven Jenkins, who has battled injuries throughout the entire season, has been ruled out for Sunday's game. Pryor is expected to serve as the team's starting left guard on Sunday with Ryan Bates in place as the team's right guard. It's a step in the right direction for the Bears as they will have more offensive line depth on Sunday than they've had in each of the past two games.

Still, after the release of Nate Davis, the Bears' starting offensive line on Sunday will be a reminder that the line should be an area of focus this offseason. The lack of protection for Williams this season has halted his development. This is an error that needs to be corrected if Williams' development is going to get back on track.
