The Chicago Bears can't give the fan base just one week to relax and watch the team cruise to an easy victory.

In Week 12, the Bears faced the Pittsburgh Steelers in another close game. After the lead changed a couple of times, the Bears were able to hold on for the 31-28 win over the Steelers in front of the home crowd in Soldier Field.

Bears wide receiver DJ Moore spoke with the media in front of his locker after the game as he was asked about grinding out another close game. Moore perfectly said what every Bears fan was feeling at the end of that game.

"Shoot, we should have ended the game on offense, but we didn't. And the defense came up big. We get into a lot of nail biters and we're still losing time off our life every game."

Let's win a blowout once in a while Bears!

Out of the Bears' eight wins on the season, six of them have been by one possession. Only the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints games were by double digits.

This Chicago team has thrived in close games, as quarterback Caleb Williams has led five game-winning drives this season, tied for first in the NFL. No matter what the score is, the Bears are always in the game and can get the job done over the last two months.

The last six games are going to be brutal for this Bears team. Outside of the Cleveland Browns, the other five games are against teams with winning records, including the Philadelphia Eagles, the Green Bay Packers twice, the Detroit Lions, and the San Francisco 49ers.

One benefit to winning these close games is that the Bears now know how to face adversity and win the games they are supposed to when they have the lead. They just need to prove that against the best teams in the NFL.
