Chicago Bears fans are patiently waiting to buy the new Madden NFL 27 game, which comes out next month, since it is the first main console release to feature a player from the team on the cover: Caleb Williams.
Many wonder: since Williams is on the cover, what would his Madden 27 rating be entering the 2026 season? A new social media leak revealed the top 100 overall players and the top 100 rookies. The ratings for six Bears players were uncovered.

There's no surprise that Thuney was the top-rated player at 96 overall since he was a Pro Bowler and All-Pro last season. He also won the inaugural Protector of the Year Award as the league's top offensive lineman.
Williams and Johnson tie for second with 90 overalls. It's good that Johnson wasn't punished too much for his injury last year, as he got to keep his rating at 90.
As for Williams, he was tied for the eighth-highest quarterback in overall rating, matching Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert at 90. It has been quite the rise for Williams, who started out as a 76 overall in his first appearance on Madden 25. Williams has become one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, with the most recent survey from NFL personnel having him 10th-best.
It's also not a surprise that Thieneman was the top Bears rookie since he was a first-round pick and considered a steal at the 25th overall pick. He's tied for the sixth-highest-rated rookie, with multiple being at a 77 overall.
Jones and Thomas are tied at 72 overalls with them being the second and third round picks. Bears fans will be interested to see what their speed rating will be since they were two of the fastest at their positions at the NFL Combine.

The wait will have to continue to see what the other player ratings are over the next few weeks, but at least some new info shows the Bears are looking like they will be a pretty good team overall in the game.
