Chicago Bears fans are pretty much over everything involved with the new $5 billion stadium being built for the franchise.

There is a big decision coming for the Bears as they decide between Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Hammond, Indiana, to build it. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported from the NFL owners' meeting that the remaining 31 teams are being updated on the new stadium, and while no news is expected to come out of the meeting, Rapoport does expect something to happen soon.

"I do expect in the coming weeks and months to have some finality for the Chicago Bears stadium situation."

Ian Rapoport thinks this Bears stadium situation will be done soon

The drama surrounding this situation has been way more than anyone could have expected, as this has been ongoing for pretty much three years. Things got worse over the last few months when Hammond, Indiana, came into the picture as a possibility, as the state has gone all out to bring the Bears across the state.

As for Illinois, there has been a lot of back-and-forth on what to do with the situation and how to make sure to keep the Bears without screwing over the taxpayers. This has also caused some friction with the city of Chicago, as they want the team to stay, but even the governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, has called out Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson for not having a plan to keep the Bears in the city.

Bears fans are just hoping the team will somehow stay in the state and not move too far from Chicago, but at the same time, the fan base wants some kind of resolution to the situation so they can move on with their lives.
