Day two of the final OTA workouts for the Chicago Bears has concluded, and quarterback Caleb Williams is in the spotlight once again with positive reviews.
Monday saw Williams' new head coach, Ben Johnson, get in his face and coach him hard. Johnson praised Williams for his response and how he likes to be coached.
The Athletic's Bears reporter, Kevin Fishbain, shared on Tuesday that the OTA workout was mostly rookies with Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze there. Johnson commended Williams for showing up to workout despite it being voluntary.
"He's committed to learning the offense. We're not where we need to be yet as a team. He understands that. Any chance he gets to get full-speed reps, it sounds like he wants them."

Year two is already looking promising for Williams with Johnson leading the way
Williams is taking another positive step forward with his new head coach after dealing with the story of his dad not wanting him to go to Chicago. The last couple of days have shown that Williams is committed to being a Bear for a long time.
Last year, the former number one overall pick threw for 3,541 yards and 20 touchdowns to just six interceptions, playing in all 17 games. He suffered from a substantial completion percentage of 62.5% and a passer rating of 87.8. It didn't help matters that he went through numerous coaching changes in his first NFL season.
The good news for Williams is that he is loaded with talent on offense with Odunze, D.J. Moore, and rookie second-round pick Luther Burden III. This offense has speed and great hands that will make Williams' second season impossible to be worse than 2024.

Johnson has established a new culture and is already working well with Williams. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff owes a lot to Johnson for helping him develop into the player he is now, as Johnson helped save his career.
The same can be done this season with Williams and Johnson working together. Bears fans have high hopes for the two, so anything like last year will not make the Windy City a happy place to live.
