There is no sugarcoating it. The Chicago Bears' start to this season has been completely embarrassing on multiple fronts. From a prime time fourth-quarter collapse to a total beatdown by a second division rival the following week, this isn't what fans had in mind.
Nothing is going the way fans had hoped it would, but what's new? This is the Bears. This is what we're used to. What we didn't expect this year, as opposed to last year though, was a player calling out a coach -- and early, once again.
Starting safety Jaquan Brisker took to social media and reposted something he was tagged in by a fan which read "They gotta let get up on that LOS & play in that backfield. DA gotta take them chains off 9."
Brisker not only reposted this, but he replied, too.

Look, fans love Brisker when he's healthy and used correctly. But, there are some issues at hand, here.
Jaquan Brisker might be a problem the Bears simply can't afford to deal with
For things to be going this bad, this early, and for a player to already call out his coaching staff? You could say Ben Johnson might have to harness some chaos early on.
The underlying aspect here, too, is the fact that Bears defensive coordinator Dennis Allen doesn't have an official X (Twitter) account. So, Allen wouldn't see this unless someone brought it to his attention.
Brisker's attitude has been questioned in the past, so this isn't shocking by any means. His injury history is also very concerning. But, did the Bears make their stance on him clear even before the season began?
Chicago did not extend Brisker and, instead, allowed him to enter the final year of his contract. That should tell you everything you need to know about their plans going forward. He might be a starter right now, but the Bears don't have strong faith in no. 9 to be their long-term solution at the position.
Now, as for the issue at hand, I don't know the concrete answer. Allen is the coach, but if he's not using his players correctly, there's a problem. Now, this is more than just potentially misusing one player.
The Bears' defense, as a whole, is in trouble. Jaylon Johnson is now out indefinitely and their depth at cornerback is concerning. The pass rush doesn't look overly impressive -- shocker, right?
Giving up a total of 79 points through two weeks is a massive red flag. The alarm should be sounding for Allen and his defense, even more so than for Ben Johnson and the offense.
Allen and Johnson have plenty of work to do, but it starts with getting the locker room in order and adjusting Brisker's attitude manually, if necessary.
