Every Chicago Bears fan has been circling this Week 12 Pittsburgh Steelers game on the calendar all year for one reason: One last shot at revenge on quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

After nearly two decades of torching the Bears' defense with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers might be making his final appearance at Soldier Field. The concern right now is that Rodgers is banged up, and his playing status for the game is in question with his wrist injury.

When asked about potentially playing against Rodgers, Bears safety Kevin Byard III was every fan of the team, saying he wants a shot at the future Hall of Famer.

"Obviously, I know the history with this city and Aaron Rodgers, so I know he's going to do his best to go out there and play. We're expecting him to play, we're preparing for him to play. Obviously, I've got the most respect for him, future Hall of Famer, all that good stuff. I've had some battles with him in my career, I think I'm 1-1. He's still doing it at a very high level. His arm talent is obviously is always going to be there. So smart. Knows where to go with the ball in every snap. And it's funny because he's in year 20, he still does a good job of escaping the pocket. It's hard to really sack him. Everybody on this defense and this team wants to play Aaron Rodgers, and I expect him to be there."

Bears want Steelers at full strength (and need them to be)

Right now, the perception of the Bears is that they can beat the lower-end teams but struggle against teams with winning records. With the Steelers at 6-4, this is the Bears' chance to change the narrative and prove they are for real.

They can't do that without Rodgers, though.

There's also the rivalry aspect to it, as Rodgers is 25-5, including postseason, against the Bears in his career. Chicago has certainly felt heartbreak from the hands of Rodgers and wants to make sure they get one last jab at him before he retires from the NFL.

This is a big game for the 7-3 Bears as they try to stay on top of the NFC North, while going home happy they got that final win over Rodgers.
