Matt Eberflus continues tone-deaf ways with another mind-boggling press conference

It has become a weekly tradition. Following another heartbreaking loss, Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus always conducts a press conference that offers absolutely nothing but a word salad and never takes any sort of accountability himself.

Eberflus' press conference on Monday following the team's loss to the Minnesota Vikings was no different. First was when Eberflus asked about the impact of Thomas Brown since he took over as the offensive coordinator following the dismissal of Shane Waldron.

I had to listen to his Monday presser online myself. And he did sound like he was taking credit for recruiting Brown even though they interviewed both he and Shane Waldron for the offensive coordinator job and hired Waldron instead.

Eberflus should not take any credit since people wonder why he chose Waldron over Brown for the offensive coordinator. He sounded very condescending when he tried to discredit Brown in his first game as a play caller during his pregame interview on ESPN Chicago. To many, he sounds like an insecure person, who is upset that Brown is able to inspire everyone while no one takes him seriously anymore.

The answer that blew everyone's mind was his explanation on why he decided to challenge Jordan Addison's 69-yard gain in the first play of the second half, which looked like Addison never stepped out of bounce.

You just have to admire the way Matt Eberflus continues to offer so little and yet he continues to display his ignorance while showing he has not desire to learn from them. He is quickly becoming the worst head coaching in Bears history over Marc Trestman.

With each loss, Eberflus continues to embarrass both himself and the organization. One must wonder what is general manager Ryan Poles and team president Kevin Warren is really thinking right now.
