In Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams connected with wide receiver DJ Moore for what can most eloquently be called an improbable touchdown. In some way, with the Bears only leading 14-3 at that point in the game, the play was the launch point for what would be come a 31-3 victory.

In theory, it's impossible to have any sort of encore for a play like that. A dramatic touchdown in a bigger game, against a better team, etc. would be cool, but fully replicating the literal improbability of that touchdown would be impossible.

Until the fourth quarter on Saturday night, it looked the like the Bears were going to lose to the rival Green Bay Packers for the second time in three weeks. After the two teams traded field goals, the Bears scored 10 unanswered points, with an onside kick recovery in the midst of it, to force overtime.

Before the onside kick, after Cairo Santos made his third field goal of the night with around two minutes left, Next Gen Stats had the Bears' win probability at 0.5 percent.

The Packers got the opening possession of the extra session, but they finished it with a turnover on downs after a botched snap. The first three plays of the Bears' first overtime possession netted 18 yards, then came the moment.

Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon did about all he could've done to prevent the touchdown, besides rip the ball out at the end of the play if he could've while rolling on the ground. There's just no defense for a perfect throw, and Moore made a fantastic catch.

Matt LaFleur's reaction to Packers fully letting game slip away will put more wind in Bears' fans' sails

After the Packers fumbled on their fourth down play in overtime to give the ball to the Bears on downs, not after Moore's touchdown as the clip says, FOX cameras captured LaFleur's reaction to a his team being on the verge of letting a game it seemingly had won totally slip away.

You can see what FOX color analyst Tom Brady called "total disbelief" on LaFleur's face. Then came the moment of complete despair and deflation, as he accepted the fact that the Bears were about to pull off an improbable victory and the biggest win for the franchise in a long time.

Look no further than some of the comments to that clip on Twitter/X to see the general sentiment about LaFleur. And that sentiment, as well-earned as it is at times by the Packers head coach, is one Bears fans now more openly share with Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings fans.
