It has become a common trend with new players coming to the Chicago Bears is immediately how impressed they are by quarterback Caleb Williams.
Expectations are high for Williams heading into the 2026 season on the field, but he has recently been praised for the leadership he is showing. New Bears third-round pick, LSU wide receiver Zavion Thomas, shared his thoughts on playing with Williams and made an impressive comparison.
"Caleb Williams reminds me of Aaron Rodgers a lot," Thomas said via The Score's Chris Emma. "The sky's the limit."

If there is a comparison to embrace, Williams should be happy with Rodgers. Throughout his long career, Rodgers has won multiple MVP awards and is a Super Bowl champion.
Williams may not have the resume to go through two years, but he looks like he's going to be a great quarterback in the NFL. He is already pacing to have the best touchdown-to-interception percentage in NFL history, as he is at 1.1%.
The Bears have made massive strides with Williams taking over as the quarterback in 2024. While that year was bad for the Bears, with just five wins, the 2025 season was very different, as Chicago won 11 games, won the NFC North, and reached the playoffs, defeating the Green Bay Packers.
Williams has a bright future with the abilities he shows, where he can make all the throws with pressure in his face. He can also come up clutch, as he had an NFL record seven comeback and game-winning drives in 2025 in the regular season and postseason.
