I bet you can guess who!

To start, I'd like to apologize for subjecting you to this. The game's the game, and these page views wait for no one, but please believe me when I say I took no joy in spending a chunk of my day on what you're about to read.

Remember Emmanuel Acho? You may recognize him from his brief stint in the NFL or the last decade of insufferable soundbites – either/or. Now, if you can believe it, Acho's a HOT TAKE artist for a morning Fox Sports talkshow featuring LeSean McCoy, James Jones, and Chase Daniel. I bet you can guess what the show's general vibe is.

In one of their recent segments, the crew decided to weigh in on Caleb Williams. Mind you, it had nothing to do with football, but when has that stopped any morning show sports analyst before? Acho had a lot of words to say about Williams' on-field demeanor, and I'd just like to remind you before we get any further: you don't have to watch this. Your time, and mental health, are precious and should be protected as such.

Emmanuel Acho's Caleb Williams rant is the weirdest Bears take you'll hear today

"Caleb, you're not a damsel," Echo said. "You're not in distress. We do not feel sorry for you. It is the Naitonal Football League. Caleb Williams' body languge is starting to become not just concerning, but irratating. The game of football, particularly when you're a rookie, you go from being a king in college to being a peasant. I believe somebody needs to inform Caleb Williams that you are now the peasant in the National Football League. But it's as if Caleb Williams expects us to feel sorry for him ... Nobody is coming to rescue you, Caleb Williams. Nobody is coming to rescue you. You are not a damsel, and you are not in distress ... "

How long do you think he practiced that in the mirror the night before? Acho was so stoked to use that damsel/distress line. Epic burn!! What a takedown! Most damsels historically are in distress, but not Williams! What a really great, totally-not-problematic metaphor. This is the type of analysis that the Bears really need to open their eyes to if they want to start winning football games. Thank you Emmanuel Acho, and thank you to the rest of The Facility. Football is forever indebted to your wisdom.

And honestly, who even cares that Williams has been sacked more than any other quarterback in the NFL? And who even cares that his 58 sacks are 13 more than the next QB on that list? Acho knows what all great TV Screamers know: if you want your take to go viral, you leave context at the door. Also, if you can believe it, Acho's already retweeted – and quote tweeted – his original video multiple times. It's clearly his job to tell us all the hard truths that we simply aren't brave enough to tell ourselves. Finally, someone willing to go there. The NFL may never be the same.
