The Windy City is still trying to get its mind right after the Chicago Bears traded star wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills.
This has certainly opened the door to all kinds of possibilities for the team over the next week. Chicago still needs to figure out what it is doing with other players, such as Tremaine Edmunds, Grevon Dexter, and Tyson Bagent, on the trade market. An interesting comment made by NFL insider Jordan Schultz might give Bears fans the sense that something else is brewing in the background.
"I do not get the sense the Bears are done on the trade market…."
DJ Moore trade isn't the end of the moves for the Bears
Bears general manager Ryan Poles alluded to the idea that the Bears will be aggressive in the offseason and make moves. After going 11-6 and coming one game short of the NFC Championship game, the Bears know they are one or two pieces away from being a Super Bowl contender and need to be aggressive.
The first thing the team would like to do after trading Moore away is to make sure they get Edmunds off the books, saving themselves over $15 million in the process. Dexter is not expected to be traded despite getting some looks from other teams. Bagent has been discussed as a possibility with the Arizona Cardinals or the New York Jets.
One those guys get figured out, it's all about doing whatever it takes to get Maxx Crosby in a trade. That will most likely require two first round picks to do that. The Bears probably could offer more to get it done, but need the cap space first before doing it.

This is only the beginning for the Bears as this will start a domino affect of trades they are about to make.
