Yeah, things aren't that great with Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams hurt, but it could be a whole lot worse. You could be a Green Bay Packers fan.

In a stunning turn of events, the lowly 0-2 Atlanta Falcons are no longer that winless team after Thursday night, as they kicked off Week 3 with a 35-14 blowout win over the Packers. No one predicted the Falcons to bounce back like that after a rough first two weeks, but the Packers' collapse was even worse.

Just how bad was this loss for the Packers? Well, it was catastrophic for Green Bay, but it was the news Bears fans needed to hear.

How bad was that Packers loss to Falcons in Week 3 that Bears fans saw?

The Falcons managed 498 yards of offense against the Packers, including 242 rushing yards. Atlanta quarterback Michael Penix Jr. made his first start since his ACL injury last year, and despite an opening-drive interception, he went 18-of-25 for 256 yards and one touchdown on one pick.

Green Bay's offense can't function without Josh Jacobs, as he deals with legal issues off the field. Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw 53 times, completing 52.8% with two touchdowns and one interception in the loss. They ran the ball nine times for 17 yards; that's it.

The Packers had time to find a proper Jacobs replacement over the last month and didn't have to drop two of their receivers or trade their second-best pass rusher, Rashan Gary, to the Dallas Cowboys. Now, those mistakes are really starting to hurt this Green Bay team in the best way possible.

What impact does it have on Bears' NFC North chances?

The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions still appear to be in the driver's seat for the division title. Minnesota probably has more of the advantage, but Detroit's defense might be bad enough to keep everyone in the game.

Green Bay feels doomed until they get Micah Parsons back from injury and Jacobs returns to the field (if he even does). The Packers don't have enough firepower to really compete and could be looking at the bottom of the division.

Chicago probably loses Williams for maybe two or three games, and in that stretch, the Bears would play the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and Packers. All three games are winnable for this team, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that they go 3-0 in that span, but it'll be hard.

If the Bears play their cards right and handle the Williams situation as they should, they will be okay and can still win the division. Green Bay is no longer a threat, so it's all about taking down the Lions and Vikings from here on.

That Williams injury, though, doesn't seem as bad in the grand scheme of things. At least Bears fans don't have to suffer through whatever is going on in Green Bay.
