Chicago Bears fans all over the world can finally take a big sigh of relief now that the 2024 NFL Draft is finally here.

General manager Ryan Poles inherited a massive mess created by former general manager Ryan Pace two years ago, and he has managed to dig out of a hole despite some painful personnel mistakes (Chase Claypool and Larry Ogunjobi). The draft will be a moment of truth for him as he gets to draft his franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams and, potentially, another future All-Pro player with their 9th overall pick.

Their 9th pick is now the subject of interest amongst the fans and media. After two picks in the top 10, they will not pick until the 75th pick in the third round. The gap is quite massive and the boredom will likely put many Bears fans to sleep during Day 2 of the draft on Friday night.

That does not seem to matter to Poles as he has stated he is content with only 4 picks in this year's draft. With the draft less than 24 hours away, there will be plenty of rumors about the teams wanting to trade up or down. And the 7 teams' draft ahead of them at 9th could shake up the draft plans for the Bears. Will Poles stand by his words or will he trade out again for the second consecutive year?

Here are two realistic scenarios for the Bears' 9th pick that the fans should be excited about.
