2. The Chicago Bears secondary looks legitimate
There was talk all summer about the Bears' secondary being the best in the NFL. They are living up to the hype so far.
The Bears' secondary struggled with Nico Collins in the first half of Week 2 but rebounded nicely and shut out C.J. Stoud and a good receiving corps in the second half. It seems as though everyone can pick off Will Levis these days, but this group started the trend.
The reality is that the defense is good enough to keep them in most games. The offense may be sporadic throughout the season, but when they have splash games, there are going to be wins. The Bears are not expected to win the Super Bowl, but knowing that they have a good defense that will buy Caleb Williams time to figure things out in tight games should be something that fans find encouraging.
