The Chicago Bears are expected to win more games this year than they are next year. That is not the boldest prediction. However, we can have a little more fun than that and get wild with some bold predictions before the 2023 season gets underway.

So, what are some bold thoughts for the Chicago Bears in 2023?

10. D.J. Moore will be the Chicago Bears version of A.J. Brown

This comes off as a bold prediction but will put it at number 10 because while it looks spicy, you can easily see it. When you look at the per-game averages of Moore and Brown before they were traded to their new teams, they were actually very similar. D.J. Moore is still just about the same age but has a little more experience.

Funny enough, Brown had his worst season, 869 yards, before being traded and going off for a career-high 1,496. Last year D.J. Moore had 888 yards, his worst number since his rookie season. Do we see a similar rise from Moore in the new scene?

It is easy to compare the two, but when specifically thinking about Moore and Justin Fields, the connection is dynamite. Fields is one of the best deep ball passers in the NFL and one of the most prone to throw it deep. Meanwhile, P.J. Walker was chucking it deep to D.J. Moore all last season because it was his best bet, and Moore was coming down with it.

The talent is there, and the fit is there. Do we see a repeat of last year with D.J. Moore to the Chicago Bears?
