Caleb William's latest accolade may be his most impressive one yet

What CAN'T he do?!

It's hard to remember a time when Caleb Williams didn't rule the NFL. I have vague memories of someone named Mitch driving a Honda Accord, but that may have been decades ago for all I know. It's Caleb Williams and then everyone else. It's obviously too early in his career to rename the MVP award after him, but my guess is that the NFL won't let that sort of technicality get in the way forever.

And honestly, it's hard to keep track of his hardware at this point. Word is that his seven passes against the Bills are already in the process of being canonized, but I'm obviously not a beat reporter so I can't confirm that. What I can confirm, however, is that his latest award may stand above all the rest.

B/R names Caleb Williams a preseason winner after seven (7) passes

Bleacher Report has named their preseason winners, which you of course already knew – that sort of thing doesn't just fly under the radar. What was definitely just an excuse to make fun of Jerry Jones (fair play, B/R) also dips a little bit into Williams' utter dominance.

"More importantly, the USC product looked comfortable, calm and collected in a relatively big moment for a young player. He made strong reads, looked sharp rolling out on bootlegs and had coaches and teammates raving about his play ... It's too early to say for certain, but the Bears seem well on their way to employing a legitimate franchise quarterback for the first time in decades."

Ugh. B/R got *so* close to saying for certain. It's not too early, B/R! Say it with your chest! If he's already looking sharp while rolling out on bootlegs, what else are you really waiting for? I'd have to go dig around Football Reference a little more but off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone who's been named a preseason winner by B/R and then gone on to have a bad year. The future's bright in Chicago.
