Rookie mini-camp is set to start on Friday for the Chicago Bears but rookie starting quarterback Caleb Williams is already making himself comfortable within the Chicagoland area as he was in attendance during the Chicago Cubs' victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

Williams attended the game with fellow Bears teammates Keenan Allen, DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, Roschon Johnson, and Nate Davis. Of course, the cameras at Wrigley Field wasted no time in finding Williams, and fans in attendance went wild.

For all the rumors that existed during the 2024 NFL Pre-Draft process about how Williams did not want to play for the Bears or become the face of a franchise in Chicago, the former USC standout quarterback has dispelled each of those misguided beliefs whenever spotted.

Caleb Williams has wasted no time in embracing Chicago.

The idea of the Bears' locker room being fractured is another misguided idea that can be discredited. The idea was that players who backed Fields as the answer at the quarterback position may create a divide within the team's locker room.

That was never an idea that had any merit. The Bears' locker room is not the same thing as Bears' fans on social media. Whether it has been Jaylon Johnson or Moore, it's become clear that the team is ready for the era where Williams is the Bears' starting quarterback with the expectation of returning to playoff contention.

The next stop for Williams will be at Halas Hall for the Bears' rookie mini-camp on Friday and Saturday. It will be at these practices that Bears fans will get the first curated clips of Williams throwing a football while donning Bears gear.
