It's an exciting time to be a Chicago Bears fan, as the Bears have been the talk of the NFL with how successful their draft was.

Typically, that is a rare statement that Bears fans can make on the Monday following the NFL Draft. Throughout the years, Bears fans have grown used to the team selecting a no-name player from a university that no one has heard of, and they would have to lie to themselves that the team has found a diamond in the rough.

That wasn't the case for the Bears' 2024 NFL Draft class.

Beginning with Caleb Williams, the Bears undoubtedly have the rookie that will draw the most national attention across the NFL next season. Williams was a superstar quarterback over the course of the past two seasons and has garnered a celebrity-type status in Los Angeles. Williams' celebrity status should not give fans the impression that he is "Hollywood"; in fact, every time that the Bears' rookie quarterback speaks, it's very easy to be impressed with the direction that the team is headed in at the quarterback position.

The Bears' followed up the selection of Williams by taking wide receiver Rome Odunze with the ninth overall selection. Odunze has already won over Bears' fans with how he has talked about the Green Bay Packers.

The next step is for Williams and Odunze to take the practice field for the Bears and that will happen very soon.

When is the Chicago Bears rookie mini-camp?

The Bears announced over the weekend that the 2024 rookie mini-camp will take place on May 10 and May 11. Not only will the mini-camp include the team's draft picks but also the undrafted free agents that the team signed this past weekend. That weekend will serve as the first time that Williams and Odunze suit up in Bears' gear while participating in football drills.
