The Chicago Bears are currently in the midst of OTAs, and all eyes are on the offseason talent that the Bears have brought in. Players like Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, and Caleb Williams have high expectations surrounding them this year. This Bears team is built to win, and fans have high expectations for this group to deliver some wins.

The Bears had a 7-on-7 drill where rookie Caleb Williams faced off against the first-team defense. Getting first-team reps right from the start will only make Williams better. Earlier in OTAS, it was reported that Williams struggled against the Bears' first-team defense. This is a common experience for a rookie quarterback in OTAs, as it's their first time facing this level of talent on the defensive side.

Caleb Williams was the superstar of Bears' practice on Friday.

Williams was able to put the rough day behind him and get back on track. The latest OTA showed much better results for the rookie quarterback. It was reported by Adam Jahns that Caleb Williams completed 13 of his 15 pass attempts, including a touchdown to D.J. Moore and a win for Williams and the offense in the situational drill.

It's important to remember that we are still in the early stages of the Caleb Williams era. With the high expectations placed on the rookie, there may be some performances, especially in OTAs, that don't meet fans' expectations. However, witnessing the rookie struggle in one OTA and then bounce back a week later with an outstanding performance demonstrates the mental toughness that Williams possesses. This resilience could help him develop into the quarterback that every Bears fan hopes to see.
