Chicago Bears Prospect No. 7: Lukas Van Ness - DT | Iowa

Lukas Van Ness seems like the second-best pick to play the 3T for the Chicago Bears, and Carter isn't the first. I know that sounds odd. My number nine guy would be my top choice, but Van Ness is a better prospect than him. Much like Foskey, Van Ness is solid throughout his game. He has explosiveness and size. There isn't much to hate on Van ness over. Honestly, I don't have him higher on this list because he played on the edge in college. I believe he is a 3T (disrupting defensive tackle). Van Ness plays with pure power and nothing else.

Chicago Bears Prospect No. 8: Calijah Kancey - DT | Pitt

I spoke about Calijah Kancey very briefly in the past. Yes, I mentioned Aaron Donald in his discussion. Who wouldn't? There isn't a whole lot to say about Kancey. He has produced and had a solid combine. The thing that I like about him is the low center of gravity. His arms are a bit short. They are two inches shorter than Donalds. I don't expect him to become Aaron Donald just because they are built similarly and went to the same school. It seems that either short 3T's or very powerful ones become very good at disrupting plays.
