2. Quentin Johnston

He is the clear-cut outside number one (prototypical) type of receiver. If you are wondering why he is number two on the board, that is because he isn't the best receiver. Smith-Njigba might be a slot-only receiver, but who cares where you are on the field?

Johnston is that Alshon Jeffery-like player without Brandon Marshall to teach him lousy player habits. He is your man if you want to check the box for an outside receiver. Speed, explosiveness, contested catch, run after the catch, and route running are just a few things. Some people want Tee Higgins (I also had him in the first round of that draft), but I want Johnston if it's not JSN.

3. Jalin Hyatt

Many probably think this will be Jordan Addison, but Addison isn't making this list. Jalin Hyatt, Addison, and Flowers are very similar in build and playstyle. However, Addison must include some things that Hyatt and Flowers don't when playing in Chicago. That is what keeps him outside of the top 10 of this list.

Those things missing is size, explosiveness, contested catch ability, and ability to get open from press coverage. Could Addison work on this? Sure, but these two receivers come with those specifics already. If you press Hyatt or Flowers, they are going to cook you. All three have excellent route running and footwork. Ready-made day-one receivers only come along sometimes. Hyatt is one of those guys that only need to focus on adjusting to the NFL game.
