The preseason is over with, rosters are being formed and that means the real deal is right around the corner. The Chicago Bears didn't see a ton of their big names during the preseason, but the excitement is sure evident.

After all, take a look around and you'll see Justin Fields in some MVP candidate conversations. It has been quite some time since a Bears player was involved in a topic like that.

Speaking of Fields, as he enters Year 3, where does he currently rank amongst his NFC North peers? Let's take a stab at power ranking the four quarterbacks around the division, starting with an obvious no. 4.

4. Jordan Love

This one is pretty easy. The Green Bay Packers are handing the reins to Jordan Love this year, and whether or not he's ready or even going to pan out remains to be seen. He made some good throws throughout the preseason, but also had some questionable decisions.

If preseason matters, the Packers offense did rank first overall among NFC teams during those three weeks, averaging 373 yards per game. Now, that's not all Love, of course. But, it's something Packer fans can hang their hat on (but yes, it's still meaningless).

The fact of the matter is, we don't have much to base a ranking off of with Love. He's hardly played any meaningful football in his career, and he's now entering Year 4. Things could change quickly, should Love come out firing. But, for right now, it is difficult to rank him anywhere other than last.
