The Packers also drafted two more safeties from the now-defunct Pac-12, Evan Williams from Oregon 111th and Kitan Oladipo from Oregon State 169th to add more depth at the safety position. Williams transferred to Oregon after playing at Fresno State. He had 4.5 sacks in 2023 and had 17 quarterback pressures in the last two years. Meanwhile, Oladipo began his career as a walk-on at Oregon State and was a second-team All-Pac-12 last season. He did not give up a touchdown pass in 421 snaps. Both will provide depth after the departure of Darnell Savage and Jonathan Owens.

The Packers also added Williams' former teammate, running back MarShawn Lloyd in the third round. Lloyd began his career at South Carolina before transferring to USC. Though he and Williams played only one season together, he led the team in rushing yards. One thing to remember about Lloyd is he was second in Pac-12 by evading or breaking 55 tackles. Considering how poorly the Bears' defense tackled at times last season, they better make sure to tackle him when he has the ball.

The rest of the Packers' picks are offensive linemen Jacob Monk from Duke(163rd) and Travis Glover from Georgia State(202nd), cornerback Kalen King from Penn State(255th), and Michael Pratt, a former standout quarterback at Tulane at 245th.

Overall, Morgan might not be a starter from day 1, but both Cooper and Bullard could become a starter as a rookie in their new 4-3 scheme. And Lloyd could be a major contributor on offense replacing Aaron Jones, who gave the Bears trouble for so many years.

Unfortunately for the Bears fans, the Packers definitely got better this off-season in both free agency and in the draft. it should come as no surprise that most draft experts are giving the Packers a solid B+ grade in their post-draft grade.
