Chicago Bears Roster: Justin Jones could lose his starting spot too

Out of the three players being mentioned, Justin Jones is the one I see losing his starting spot first. The coaching staff seems to love Jones and fans should love him too after his comments about Packers fans. The problem is, his leadership skills and personality need to translate onto the field. That didn't happen enough last season.

Ryan Poles and the coaching staff might be saying all of the positive things now, but they went out and drafted three defensive tackles. Two of those tackles were drafted within the team's first four picks. Gervon Dexter was taken in the second round and was the Bears' second pick in the draft. He has the ability and talent to push Justin Jones out of the starting spot. Zacch Pickens was taken in the third round, but I don't think he pushes Jones too much too soon.

Matt Eberflus and Alan Williams like to rotate their defensive linemen consistently. No matter who starts, the backups will see plenty of snaps too. That said, I think Justin Jones could lose his starting spot during training camp. Eberflus does not shy away from starting rookies.
