Lucas Patrick

Patrick signed a 2 year, $8 million deal with the Bears prior to the 2022 season. It is safe to say, that deal never panned out for the Bears. The offensive lineman played just 269 snaps last season and was bad when he did play.

In 2023, Patrick has been available, playing 879 snaps but with even worse results. Patrick has a pitiful 51.0 PFF grade and is clearly the weak link on the line. Patrick has been penalized a whopping 9 times this season.

The Bears could easily upgrade on the interior of the line either via the draft or in free agency.
