7. Doug Kramer, C

Up front, the Bears will probably keep 9-10 offensive linemen. This spot just got more difficult with the injury to Teven Jenkins. But, I could see the team keeping the following: Braxton Jones, Jenkins, Cody W/hitehair, Nate Davis, Darnell Wright, Lucas Patrick, Alex Leatherwood, Larry Borom and Ja'Tyre Carter.

Right there is nine. There are still a bunch of guys behind those nine, with Doug Kramer being a possibility more so for the practice squad than anything. He just has not done enough to earn a full-time roster spot in Year 2.

8. Nsimba Webster, WR

Finally, the wide receiver group gets some love. Here, we'll be likely to see the Bears keep D.J. Moore, Darnell Mooney, Chase Claypool, Tyler Scott and Equanimeous St. Brown as their top five. It is also probable that the team ends up keeping Velus Jones Jr. around one more year, even though he looks like a failed draft pick. That makes six.

Dante Pettis and Daurice Fountain might have an outside shot if the Bears want to keep seven, or if they surprise and cut Jones.

But, the next man up, Nsimba Webster, won't be fortunate enough to get a spot. He'll be out soon enough.
