The Chicago Bears record under Matt Eberflus

I have already mentioned the fact that Eberflus has overseen just 6 wins during the past two years as Bears Head coach; however, the mediocrity does not end there. Eberflus currently has the worst record of any Chicago Bears head coach who has had the privilege of leading this storied franchise since its inception.

To further illustrate this historically bad statistic, even if Flus managed to win the next 5 games and equal the number of games that Marc Trestman was at the helm in Chicago, his winning percentage (34.4%) would still be lower than Trestman’s (40.6%).

Matt Eberflus is 2023’s version of John Fox

Granted John Fox had an extra season at the helm, but the comparisons between him and Flus are uncanny.

  • A defensive head coach brought in to steady the ship during a transition period.
  • A coach who seemingly doesn’t know how to develop a young QB or even play to his skills and strengths.
  • A head coach who some people have speculated wasn’t the first choice of a young first-time GM but was the preferred candidate of those in loftier positions.

Now if only Matt Eberflus would come out with more bizarre but entertaining soundbites during press conferences, he would fully transition into "The Fox".

While the Bears are experiencing deja vu with Eberflus, you can lock down $200 today guaranteed. All you have to do is click this link to sign up for DraftKings and then bet $5 on any wager today.
