Did the Steelers just tip the Chicago Bears' hand at their quarterback decision?

After Mitch Trubisky's journey with the Chicago Bears didn't work as planned, the Pittsburgh Steelers added him to their quarterback room once his stint with the Buffalo Bills ended.
The smoke thickens behind Chicago Bears trading Justin Fields to Pittsburgh
And while Trubisky wasn't who the Steelers needed to boost them to the Super Bowl, Mike Tomlin could be eyeing another Chicago Bears quarterback.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially released Mitchell Trubisky, and that could be opening the door for what the Chicago Bears are doing with Justin Fields.
Mike Tomlin is reportedly a 'big fan' of Justin Fields, so that could be the destination spot for the Chicago Bears to send their former first-round quarterback. The Steelers have made it apparent there's a plan to get a new quarterback, and with Justin Fields potentially on the trading block, both sides could find the deal worth it.
Mitchel Trubisky didn't work for the Chicago Bears or the Steelers, and while Fields has struggled to find consistency in Chicago, a change of scenery could make sense for both sides.
And with Adam Schefter being as connected as he is in the NFL, it's likely this isn't a flat-out lie. Whether the Chicago Bears trade Justin Fields or not, the Pittsburgh Steelers are a likely landing spot for the former Buckeye.
With Trubisky off the roster in Pittsburgh, the Chicago Bears' plans at quarterback could be made-up. And that decision looks to be the No. 1 pick: Caleb Williams.
