The Chicago Bears will be looking into the free agency situations for every team this offseason to see which players would be fit for their roster moving forward. After the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, they knew that they had to continue to tweak their roster, and they would not run it back with the same names.

Does this open the door for the Chicago Bears to sign players from the Super Bowl roster?

The Kansas City Chiefs have pass-catching options available for the Chicago Bears this offseason.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have big decisions to make in the pass catcher department this offseason. The team saved over $11M this offseason by moving on from Marquez Valdes-Scantling. While he had a strong postseason, his regular season was largely disappointing, and he is not worth that type of money.

Still, the Bears cannot trust Tyler Scott after his rookie year but also want him to be the starter. Do they sign Valdes-Scantling to push Scott? If Scott struggles, at least they have a veteran deep threat, but if he thrives, the salary will not be much, and they could move on or make him a depth player.

The Chiefs may also release Kadarius Toney, but he does not feel like a fit for the culture that Ryan Poles is building. Kansas City is only cutting him to spare their culture, which says a lot.

Mecole Hardman is a free agent again after struggling with the New York Jets and rebounding with Kansas City. Still, he feels like he knows that Patrick Mahomes will give him his best situation.

One last name to look for is Richie James. He has return game ability that could let the Bears feel comfortable moving on from Trent Taylor or Velus Jones. All four have pros and cons that make them options for Chicago.
