5. Is this setting up for the last season Justin Fields starts for the Chicago Bears?

You can blame Luke Getsy for Sunday, and he let the team down in a big way. You also can blame the offensive line, and we already blamed Ryan Poles for his lack of depth and choosing to keep the wrong players on the offensive line. However, you have to look at the play of Justin Fields and blame him for the failures of the Chicago Bears as well.

It is clear now that he cannot do all of the things required to play quarterback. Most of the criticism around Getsy is that he does not dumb down the offense for his quarterback. By year three in the NFL and year two in this offense, you thought there would be more from Fields already.

The Bears are 0-2 and staring down 0-3 with the Chiefs coming to town. The rest of this season is all about finishing strong, and for Justin Fields, it is about showing that he can still be an NFL quarterback.
