2. The Chicago Bears could see a weakened Cleveland Browns secondary

The Cleveland Browns secondary could be going through some serious changes. First, they are shuffling at safety. They just lost Grant Delpit for the season, which is unfortunate considering he was having a breakout year.

Their other safety, Juan Thornhill, has been missing time. Thornhill has a calf injury and did not practice in the last two days, making it harder to see him starting this week.

So, the Browns will be starting Ronnie Hickman and D’Anthony Bell. They signed Duron Harmon, who spent time with the Chicago Bears this year, and he may have to see the field for the Browns on Sunday.

At cornerback, Denzel Ward has a shoulder injury. He has been limited, and his status is firmly up in the air. The Browns have Martin Emerson on the outside, but the loss of Ward has forced them to shift Greg Newsome from the outside to the slot and start rookie Cameron Mitchell in the slot.

There is a drop from Ward to Newsome and then another drop from Newsome to Mitchell. The Bears wide receivers are not the strength of the roster, but life certainly got easier for both Cole Kmet and D.J. Moore this weekend. Moore may have already been in a good situation based on the scheme that the Browns run. Seeing a weakened unit will only add to his ability to score.
