2. The Chicago Bears need help for Montez Sweat

Montez Sweat may not need Eric Washington in the way that Gervon Dexter does. However, the Chicago Bears are showing Sweat that they are going to help him with the addition of Washington. We saw the Sweat effect, and how he makes others better. What is the impact when the others are good themselves? Is there an impact where Sweat gets better because of the help he is getting? That could finally happen.

Whether he was with the Carolina Panthers or Buffalo Bills, Eric Washington was always able to rotate in four rushers to keep his group fresh. He believes in depth on the defensive line. That is what the team has lacked in the past two years. 

If Washington has any say, the team will be taking a lot of shots in free agency and the draft. They may not spend big in either area, but there will be competition, and the cream will rise.
